چکیده
The present study examines the durability properties of Class 1 (50–75 MPa) high-performance concrete (HPC) blended with rice husk ash (RHA) as a partial replacement CEM II B-L, 42.5 N. Six HPC mixes were prepared RHA and used 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30% alone are compared control mix having only II. binders (CEM RHA) investigated for particle size distribution (PSD), specific surface area (SSA), oxide compositions, mineralogical phases, morphology, functional groups using advanced techniques laser PSD, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET), X-ray fluorescence (XRF), diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform infrared/attenuated total reflection (FTIR/ATR), respectively, to understand their import on HPC. Durability properties, including water absorption, sorptivity, chemical attack samples, realise effect matrix. findings revealed that RHA-based HPCs exhibited an acceptable range values consistent relevant standards. established self-produced would be beneficial cement in As is cost-effective agro-waste, scalable product resource sustainable technology.

Marine Durability Characteristics of Rice Husk Ash-Modified Reinforced Concrete
This paper addresses the potential use of Rice Husk Ash (RHA) as a cementitious material in concrete mixes. RHA is produced from the burning of rice husk which is a byproduct of rice milling. The ash content is about 18-22% by weight of the rice husks. Research has shown that concrete made with RHA as a partial cement substitute to levels of 10% to 20% by weight of cement has superior performan...
متن کاملDurability of High-performance Concrete with Fly Ash
High-performance concrete (HPC) is usually produced using high quality materials. These high quality constituents drastically increase the initial cost of HPC, hence hindering its more widespread use. Therefore, the main goal of this research project was to produce a low cost enhanced performance concrete or even a low cost HPC, using low quality fly ash and locally available crushed aggregates...
متن کاملEvaluation of Coal Waste Ash and Rice Husk Ash on Properties of Pervious Concrete Pavement
The use of pervious concrete has been significantly considered in recent years. This consideration is due to the properties of pervious concrete in relating to the environmental sustainability that is utilized in the effective management of the runoff from rainfall. Coal extraction and rice husk obtained from milling, produces wastes that have no application and followed by environmental pollut...

متن کاملA mathematical model for optimization of strength of concrete: A case study for shear modulus of Rice Husk Ash Concrete
Rice Husk Ash (RHA) is natural Pozzolan containing reactive silica and/or aluminum. When the material is mixed with lime in powdered form and in the presence of water, it will set and harden like cement. This work uses Osadebe’s optimization model to optimize the shear modulus of concrete made from RHA. The strengths predicted by the model are in good agreement with their corresponding experime...
